High Defintion Laser Scanning
Gromatici has a multi-station that includes a high-definition laser scanner. This allows us to use it for typical survey tasks like traversing control, boundary surveys, and so forth. However with on-board scanner it allows us to see the scan results real-time oriented to the survey and integrated with our survey.
This speeds up the post-processing time in the office and the integration with the convential survey data.

Safety issues (remotely location streeets, bridges, etc.)

Laser Scan for ADA Compliance
This is actually a High Definition Laser Scan. For this ADA compliance project we only did a 0.1' x 0.1' spread, but we can do up to a 0.003' x 0.003' spread if needed.

Catwalk and Steel Column Survey
Gromatici was retained on a short notice to provide an as-built survey of a steel column on the interior of a wine-processing facility during working hours. This building is over 35 high, and we also needed to locate the catwalk.
This was to provide dimensions and geometry for a new bulding that would have a connecting bridge to the existing bridge.
We were able to safely located the feature using our Leica NOVA MS50 High Definition Laser Scanner.
This allowed us to gather extra data in the same timeframe and provide the strutrual engineer with the data they needed to avoid the piller and design with a high level of confidence.
