Since the Eric is a Certified Federal Surveyor he has been retained for several LiDAR drone surveys, boundary surveys, and topogrpahic mapping by a Engineer performing wate water and water improvement project for various tribal lands within California. This is helping folks on tribal lands with improving their water treatment systems.

This low income project on five acres consists of multiple buildngs, a community center and all new road, utitliies and development. Gromatici performed the topographic mapping, ALTA/NSPS Survey and now is doing the construction Staking support services.
We surveyed an eroding sea bluff in Isla Vista using our High Definition Laser Scanner. This allowed us to safely measure the bluff erosion without scaling the bluff, causing damage to it, or worry about employee safety. The only issue was following the tides to get the survey done before the water level caught up to us!
Eric Ackerman is on the Community Recovery Team for this disaster as sponsored by the County of Santa Barbara. Montecito, CA.
This is a low-income housing development in the City of Ventura. We are providing construction staking support for Ashwood Construction, Inc. The development consists of tying into previous housing development phases, utilities, buildings, and curbs.
Gromatici was retained to provide topographic mapping for Pioneer Park, and other parks within the City of Lompoc, for the Parks and Recreation Dept. This is for ADA access and other improvements. Lompoc, CA. November, 2018.
Gromatici was retained for the topographic survey for the design of a new wellhead location. We were also selected for the construction of the water lines, tie-ins, wellhead, and other infrastructure and structures for the site. Solvang, CA.
Target is finally getting into Santa Barbara! We were selected by the GC to survey the inside of the existing State Street Galaria on La Cumbre and State, to ensure that the construction of the new Target using the existing building would not run into any "field" issues. We provided an extensive survey of the inside walls, utility risers, and elevations on the inside and some outside as-builts. Ongoing as of November, 2018.
October, 2018: Gromatici was retained to perform a location survey for the right-of-way of the Montecito Library located in Montecito, CA. Right-of-Way Engineering and a topographic survey was performed.
November, 2018: We have teamed with a GC for the construction of a new Wendy's location in Santa Maria, CA. Construction to begin in December, 2018.
November, 2018: We have been retained to assist with a Starbucks retail location in Oxnard, CA. This is in the design/ due diligence stage of the project.
Gromatici Land Surveying, Inc was retained to perform a land survey for the City of Solvang City limits for Sunny Fields Park. Part of our task was to set monuments for the northernmost limits. This allows for the City to only maintain that portion of Alamo Pintado Road that is within the City and not maintain any of the County's portion of the road. A monument well was set in the road showing the limits of the City of Solvang.
Gromatici is currently performing the Final Mapping, Condo Mapping and construction staking for this 9.29 acre site in Buellton, CA. This will be 151 condominium units. Currently it is under construction in the rough grading phase and infrastructure. Gromatici is helping the client push through the Final Mapping with the City and provide real time construction staking support.
We staked a soil nail wall, and 12 phases of Condos including all infrastructure and roads.
November 2015
Gromatici has been retained by Kiewit to provide on-site GPS control, boundary surveying, and topographic mapping for the site. This involved performing an on-the-ground survey of the facilities to locate key features and drainage. Currently we are in the construction support phase providing rough grade staking.
We used our GPS and robotic technology along with multiple crews to turn this over quickly.

Gromatici Land Surveying needed to provide a scan to the structural engineers of an existing steel column and catwalk in a wine processing facility in Buellton, CA. Using our Leica NOVA MS50 we used our previous survey control to register the scan on the fly, looked at the scan in the field, and converted the scan to 2D data within 24 hours of the notice to proceed.

Gromatici is working with the owners, developers on this commercial project in Buellton, CA as the project surveyor. We have established benchmarks, and laid out GPS control for the graders, and finish grades for the buildings. As of October 31, 2014 we are currently working on the project with the utilities and building staking completed.
Gromatici has just completed a couple of ALTA surveys for the Housing Authority related to a large project they have in Goleta and Lompoc. We performed an ALTA survey, legal descriptions, construction staking, and as-built surveys. We used a Color Ortho Photo on the 5 acre property and color plotting for the smaller project in Isla Vista.
Currently we are the surveyor for the layout and staking on the Pescadero Lofts in Isla Vista.
Elevation Certificates: Gromatici was retained by the owners of several Motel 6's in the San Luis Obispo County area to provide Elevation Certificates as part of their due diligence process. Timing and cost were an important factor as part of this project.
RTK and Static GPS surveying along with Robotic Equipment were used during this survey. CORS stations and physical benchmarks were utilized for the control loops.

ALTA/ACSM Survey and Certification: Gromatici Land Surveying, Inc. ALTA Survey: Our team consisting of two licenses land surveyors and two field crews perform two simultaneous surveys for the Housing Authority of the County of Santa Barbara. These survey required extensive boundary determinations and chain of title searches and includes a Record of Survey. We used a color ortho-photo on one of the project to keep costs at a minimum.

Gas Line Staking: This is another public works project where Gromatici was selected based on our cost-effective survey proposal. GPS was used for initial control and our robotic instrument was used for the layout of sump wells, gas lines and on-site control.

Custom Home Layout and Control: Gromatici was retained due to the complex nature of the boundary and to maximize the setbacks for this project, situated between a Rail Road Right-of-Way and the developable portion next to the beach.

Cell Tower layout and FCDC 1A Certification: Gromatici was the project surveyor for the construction of a new AT&T cell tower in Santa Barbara County. This low profile tower needed GPS control and azimuths set within 3 arc minutes of true north for the optimal cell phone reception.

Public Works large site Layout and Roadway Construction Staking: Gromatici has been retained by Ashwood Company, Inc. and the Housing Authority of the County of Santa Barbara to provide QA/QC for a 9 building, 39 unit project in Los Alamos, CA. This project will entail new utilities, streets improvements, new buildings, walls, curbs and grading.

Bridge control and Layout: Gromatici Land Surveying has been retained by Peter Lapitus Construction to provide rough and finished grade staking and layout for a 60' pre-fab bridge over Quiota Creek. This project is for COMB and is being funded to provide fish passage for steelhead trout for the Creek. This project consists of rough grading, including slope staking and layout of bridge abutments so the bridge can easily be "dropped" into place.

Commercial Construction Sites: Gromatici Land Surveying was retained to provide professional land surveying services for this new Fresh & Easy market on Milpas Street.
